About me

I am Holger Holland – social entrepreneur, co-founder and managing director of the Berlin College of Business and Technology (BCBT), Honorary Professor for Strategy, Social Innovation & Project Management, EU Climate Pact Ambassador, and chairman of the environmental NGO Let’s Do It Germany e. V.

My focus: sustainable solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and the environment – academically grounded, entrepreneurially executed, socially impactful.

What drives me

For more than 25 years, I have been working on what I consider the defining task of our generation: thinking ecological, social, and digital transformation as one movement. From this conviction, I have founded companies, helped build a university, co-initiated one of Germany’s largest civic environmental movements, and championed a sustainable data culture.

Education and cooperation are, in my view, the most powerful levers – because real change begins where people are empowered to act.

Entrepreneurial path

In 1999, I founded my first company, agepo.world (Agency for Environmental Business & Project Organization). Since then I have led more than 200 environmental and ICT projects for organizations of all sizes – from agile practices and ERP/CRM/PP systems to innovation, network, and community building. This is the toolkit I bring into teaching and consulting today: structured project management, KAIZEN as a mindset of continuous improvement, and “Sustainability as a Service”.
